Eggs – 2 hard boiled and peeled
Oil – 2 tbsp
Cloves – 4-5
Black Peppercorns – 6
Onion – 1 cubed
Ginger – 1 finely chopped
Garlic – 3 finely chopped
Dry Red chillies – 3
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tspn
Coconut – 2 tbpn, grated
Tomato – 2 cubed
Salt – to taste
Water – 1 cup
Hard boil and peel the eggs.
Chop onion, ginger, garlic and tomato.
Heat 2 tspn of oil in a pan. Add crushed cloves and peppercorn.
Add onion and saute till soft.
Add ginger and garlic. Saute for few seconds.
Add dry red chillies, turmeric powder and coconut. Saute for 2 minutes.
Add tomato and saute till aroma realeases.
Allow this mixture to cool and grind to a smooth paste. Add water if needed.
Heat the pan and add oil.
Add the masala paste to the pan. Add a cup of water. Mix well and boil.
Add eggs and salt now.
Simmer it in low flame for few minutes.
